Purpose
This policy establishes the procedures Seven Tree Media LLC follows when responding to requests from public authorities, law enforcement agencies, or governmental bodies for personal data or personal information of users of Content Gizmo.
Seven Tree Media LLC is committed to protecting user data and ensuring that any disclosure complies with applicable law and due process requirements.

Legality Review
Seven Tree Media LLC requires valid legal process before disclosing any user data.
Valid legal process includes a subpoena, court order, warrant, or other legally binding request issued by a competent authority with appropriate jurisdiction.
All requests will be reviewed prior to disclosure to confirm:
The request is written and properly signed
The requesting authority is legitimate and authorized
The request falls within the jurisdiction of the issuing authority
The request has a clear and valid legal basis
The scope of the request is legally sufficient and appropriately limited
No user data will be disclosed without completion of this review.
Operational Practice:
Verify the authenticity of the request
Confirm legal basis and jurisdiction
Confirm the identity of the requesting authority
Provisions for Challenging Unlawful Requests
If a request appears overly broad, lacks jurisdiction, is vague, or is otherwise unlawful or defective, Seven Tree Media LLC reserves the right to challenge, narrow, or refuse the request until proper legal process is provided.
Seven Tree Media LLC may:
Request clarification or modification of the request
Seek to narrow the scope to the minimum legally required
Decline to produce data until proper documentation is provided
Consult legal counsel where appropriate
Operational Practice:
Do not comply automatically with any request
Request clarification when necessary
Escalate questionable requests for legal review before disclosure
Data Minimization Policy
Seven Tree Media LLC will disclose only the minimum amount of data legally required in response to a valid request.
No additional data beyond the explicit scope of the request will be provided.
Sensitive information such as authentication tokens, system secrets, or unrelated user data will not be disclosed unless explicitly required by valid legal process.
Operational Practice:
Extract only specified fields
Avoid full account exports unless legally required
Limit disclosures strictly to the requested user and data categories
Documentation and Logging
All public authority requests will be documented and logged.
For each request, Seven Tree Media LLC will record:
Date received
Requesting authority
Legal basis cited
Scope of request
Decision taken
Data disclosed
Date of response
Copies of all written requests and responses will be securely stored.
Operational Practice:
Maintain a secure internal log file or spreadsheet
Store digital copies of requests
Record exactly what data was disclosed
Retain documentation in accordance with internal record retention practices
User Notification
Seven Tree Media LLC will notify affected users of a request for their personal data unless:
The request legally prohibits notification
The request includes a valid non-disclosure order
Notification would violate applicable law
Where permitted, users will be informed before or after disclosure, as appropriate.
