User Data Deletion Policy

Content Gizmo respects your right to control your personal data. This page explains how you can request deletion of your account data and any connected platform data.
- Deleting Your Account from Within the Platform
If you have access to your Content Gizmo account:
Log into your account.
Navigate to Account Settings.
Select Delete Account.
Confirm deletion.
When you delete your account:
Your user profile information is permanently removed.
Stored OAuth access tokens are deleted.
Connected Facebook Page tokens are deleted.
Connected social media tokens are deleted.
Stored WordPress credentials are deleted.
Generated articles and content are deleted.
Associated keyword and research data are deleted.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.
- Requesting Data Deletion by Email
If you cannot access your account, you may request deletion by email.
Send your request to:
admin@contentgizmo.com
Subject line: Data Deletion Request
Include:
The email address associated with your account
Your business name (if applicable)
We may request verification to confirm identity before processing deletion.
All eligible data associated with your account will be permanently deleted within a reasonable timeframe after verification.
- Facebook Data Deletion Instructions
If you connected Facebook to Content Gizmo, you may:
Disconnect Facebook directly from your dashboard
Delete your Content Gizmo account
Email admin@contentgizmo.com
with the subject line Facebook Data Deletion Request
When processed:
Stored Facebook Page access tokens are deleted
Stored Page ID and Page name are deleted
No further publishing access remains
Content previously published to Facebook Pages remains on Facebook and must be managed directly within Facebook.
- Data Retention Exceptions
Certain records may be retained if required for:
Legal compliance
Fraud prevention
Billing record requirements
Payment data is processed by Stripe. Content Gizmo does not store credit card numbers.
- Third Party Platforms
If you published content to:
WordPress
That content resides on those platforms and must be removed directly through those services.
Deleting your Content Gizmo account does not automatically delete content already published externally.
